Professionally installed camera system in San Clemente factory
Hauk Security was hired for troubleshooting a camera system in a factory located in San Clemente, California. Our initial assessment showed us the direction for the owner to achieve what they expected of their security camera system. Our main objective was to reduce the burden of their Workers comp cost due to previous (preventable) accidents.
The result was a complete 18 camera pro level 4k camera system with active deterrent camera outside, 4k surveillance cameras inside on the owner's computer, mobile phone, and dedicated monitor.
Below: Before and after installation pictures. We test and certifiy all cat6 wires are functioning properly to provide the smooth quality 4k picture we demand from our installations.
Pro Camera installation Mission Viejo, CA
Hauk Security wired camera installation with HD cameras prevent burglars from jamming the RF wifi signals. Using cat6 wire and ip cameras, we recommended the highest quality active camera system install without the threat of a burglar jamming the typical wireless camera system sold on the internet.

Intercom Entry Update in Laguna Niguel
Hauk Security intercom installation removed, cut stucco to fit a new elegant entry intercom as an upgrade to this Laguna Niguel gate entry. We stucco, painted and adjustment the gate to level as the original postion intended. Adding a gate auto closer, gate strike, intercom controller, gate relay access control from the existing telephone allows entry by pressing #7.
We also added a floodlight motion activated security camera with 2-way audio.
New homes in Irvine get Ring Alarm - Intercom - Schlage Lock as standard package
We are happy to help new homeowners with their technology integration. This beautiful new Irvine home featured Ring Alarm, Intercom and Schlage automated lock technology as a standard.
As an installer of technology, you can BYOT (bring your own tech) to the install and we'll make it work as simple and unobtrusive as possible.
Ring Pro Intercom works in conjunction with the Schlage lock to speak with the person at the door and unlock it from the Ring App. Also, intruders will be shocked by the volume emmitted from the Ring Alarm system. We chose to house it inside the OnQ plastic structured wiring panel. The keypad allows you to arm and unarm the system when home. As you look closely, the picture below shows how we wired the keypad through the wall to the outled on the opposite wall so the wires are completely hidden.... as it should be.

Preventing Crime In Orange County
We were hired by a detective from our local police force in the community to protect his new (1990's) home he recently purchased.
Being a detective, he provided additional insights of the many problems with crime in the Orange County area including Irvine, Lake Forest, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente, Foothill Ranch, Newport Beach, and Rancho Santa Margarita just to name a few areas with high crime rates over the last 2 years.
Unbelievable Crime In Orange County
We were hired due to security alarm and camera concerns by a
prominent businessman in Orange County to add protection to this ranch style
1990’s home.
Riddled with crime in
upscale OC neighborhoods, we implemented a plan using a secure wired and
wireless security alarm system known as the Cadillac for our industry.
This burglar alarm system has the features
needed to protect his family and possessions with 120 dB sirens in 4 locations in
his San Juan Capistrano neighborhood.
Initially we assessed the property, neighborhood and all
potential access points where criminals could breach the perimeter of the yard
and home.
Areas of concern were the power box, unlocked and accessible
from the street or horse trails.
Gate
from the trail without a lock, separate pool house with valuable equipment and
minimal lighting using motion detection.
Intercom upgrade, San Clemente, Orange County
We were hired by a couple in the beach community to make their home functional with an upgraded intercom system and music throughout their home in this remodeled 1980's home.
Our objective was to upgrade the original Music & Sound Intercom music system using a resonably priced model that gave them 2 key features. Answer the front door from their cell phones or room stations and provide an easy way to get their music from streaming sources. The solution was a new Intrasonic Intercom system. We do the same work with Nutone replacements.
Listen to music streaming from Alexa to every room in the house and change it with ease using the intercom. Answer the door from any room and your mobile phone. Call any room in the home with 2-way communication in the other room. Door and gate buzzer openings are also available with this product. In this project, we use the existing wires and cover plates made to hide the existing holes.
Alarm installation wiring is more important than the alarm itself
Looking at the number of false alarms that occured with this school system, it's suprising they even set the alarm at night! An unreliable system is worse than no system at all.... that's the boy that cried wolf syndrome, it didn't turn out well for him!
Hauk Security prefers wiring an alarm system to provide the most consistent and reliable security alarm system available. This was one of our most challenging repair jobs and we repair alarm systems almost every day. The client purchased the DSC NEO alarm system (what my Dad considers the best commercial alarm on the market), for consistent and reliable performance. Look close, you can see bare wires, poor crimps, just a mess of wires and the worse was the 16 zones were loose pcb's pushed up in the ceiling tiles. Heat destroy's electronics and it's dangerous because metal and electricity don't work well when they aren't insulated.
As a detail oriented installation company, we follow the fundimentals to assure you of a top performing alarm system that provides years of the performance we expect from a DSC Alarm System installation.

E.R. Hauk
At a young age, Eugene left home for the US Navy where he served his country with pride as a communications specialist on a destroyer. His first job when returning was in communications at the phone company in the 50's. He continues to tell the stories of how the phone systems worked with relays and switch board operators.
In 1978 he founded HSS and began developing the skills of wiring the impossible home for security! This is when he got the nickname "fix-it-man" because of his incredible ability to do the impossible. He continues to be our source of wisdom and promises to never retire... his roll is to pass on his experience in the family business.
Darrel and Travis carry on the generational knowledge that brings families and business owners peace of mind in knowing their technology is done with the diligence needed when safety and security is a priority.
