Hauk Security uses the latest and most advanced camera surveillance technology for our installations today. Our objective is to stop the crime before it happens. Some crime happens but it is minimal compared to an office or warehouse that doesn’t feature legitimate surveillance cameras installed by professionals. Things to consider with a professional installation of surveillance camera systems:

Product technology: Hauk Security has been installing cameras since they were Vidicon Tube camera systems when Panasonic Surveillance Systems was our preferred brand in the 1980's. Today, cameras can be sourced from the internet claiming they are the best camera, but I can tell you from experience and hands on installation, they won’t stop the crime. Internet sourced wireless cameras are rarely good enough at night to see much and useless for Police evidence. The inexpensive level-1 cameras by Blink or SimpliSafe cameras don't provide a business the protection needed to stop crime. Level-4 surveillance systems by Deep Sentinel will absolutely protect your business, property, and daily business operations when you leave for the day. You can be confident knowing you'll come back to the office, and it will be operational because they are always watching. Of all the client/victims we serve, the worst for business is when electrical copper is removed from the building causing lost revenue for a manufacturers production down time. One of our clients said he was in the millions when the factory stopped for 1-week when the copper was stripped out of their electrical panel, deadlines were missed, and they lost clients.

1. Level-1 Basic: online basic systems Ring, Nest, Blink, Simplisafe, Reolink,
Wyze, Kasa, TP-Link and many more. They all have the same problems that are
limited quality at night. Basically you get a ghost trail behind the subject
(person) and if that's not bad enough for a camera, anything moving sends you
alerts. After 100 alerts all being false alarms, you stop using them as a
proactive security product. This means you may get an image AFTER the crime
occurs.

2. Level-2: We have many new cameras that enter into this category as
technology improves. This is all about the quality image, frames per second,
amount of storage available and motion alerts. We require 25 fps speed at which the video is
streaming and recording. Most of the products in this category don’t offer the
features needed to be in the business camera system category. Nest and Ring
have stepped up to this category with some products they manufacture.

3. Level-3:

Over half of the businesses
Hauk Security installers work with are the Level-3 category. Looking at the features that are most
important are Intrusion Detection Alerts based on the line crossing feature and a set area of protection.

These require human alert detection that differentiates a human vs. a moving bush or a bug flying
around the lens at night. Yes, the night vision attracts bugs at night setting off motion alerts if Level-3 surveillance
is not deployed. Active deterrence is necessary to flash active lights and an automated message “you are under surveillance”.

Business camera installations have used these features since 2022.

On site storage features are needed to make a complete advanced system functional for personnel. Many of the reasons to use an NVR (network video recorder) is the next level support of activations and turning on flashing lights, motion lights or sirens.

We can even lock down a room if facial recognition is deployed and they are not authorized to be in the building.

Additionally, the fps will give you the quality needed to view multiple cameras at 1 time.

FPS needed are 320 mbps bandwidth upload and 320 mbps download with 16 4k surveillance cameras.

Anything less will give you a time lapse frame by frame review.

Level-4 Surveillance has active guards watching when a human motion is
activated. The guards will get on the speaker and question the person, activate a siren and contact the police.

Level-5 Top level Airport security is not an area we have experience. Pelco would be a go to manufacturer that will
refer you to a company for more information.

. Why do we need Cameras: Cameras will keep everyone honest inside and outside of the business. You'll know if a shipment was 20 boxes or 19 boxes, the warehouse staff really did drop a box on their own foot... not by accident. Tammy (for example) didn't spill her coffee in the copier, it was John!!!

Objections and my personal response to anyone questioning the need for installing cameras at the office: The employees think I'll be spying on them, Management is micromanaging me with cameras.

My Response: If I need to look at the cameras to manage you, then you shouldn’t be working for me!

My Response: Cameras are here to protect you, not hurt you..... why, are you doing something wrong!

My Response: Insurance company requires suitable proof protecting employees and business assets.

My Response: Insurance cost is lower when we have security products installed

My Response: We must protect the company against fraud accusations. Personal liability and business liabilty

My Response: Workers compensation insurance is so expensive, one slip and fall claim is more expensive than installing a camera system.

My Response: Walking to your car at 5pm during the winter months is dark and leave a person vulnerable. As a man that raised 2 daughters (and a son), I would hold the employer liable if they didn't keep my girls protected.

My Response: We have cleaning and maintenance staff in our office building every week, it takes away temptation of petty theft and keeps them protected from our wrongful claims. Seriously, cleaning crews should require cameras at the offices they clean.

My Response: We are handling money in the cash drawer, where there is money, there is crime.

My Response: We're creating a safe working environment for all employees. Having a "no harassment" policy is serious business. Installing security cameras provide proof we won’t have anyone harassed at our company. Going deeper, the company is liable if we turn our heads and allow an employee to be harassed. Also, it goes the other way if a person claims harassment... proof is in the video!
